Band: Death Mechanism Not only Romeo and Juliet hail from Verona, Italy. Also does this thrash metal alliance called Death Mechanism. Mass Slavery is their ‘second’ full-length. It’s their first album which has been released by a label. Their first album is called Human Error Global Terror, which they originally released as a self production in 2006. They added four new songs to that album and then Jolly Roger Records released it. Death Mechanism brings you old school thrash metal. This can clearly be heard on this album. All the songs are very up-tempo and merciless, giving you no time to catch a breath, what so ever. I really miss this break, because fourteen songs is way too much for a thrash metal/death metal record. It keeps interesting for perhaps five songs, but further than that, everything sounds more boring and tedious. It should have been a more interesting album if they had selected just a few songs from the first album instead of using them all. Death Mechanism may be popular in Italy, but to touch entire Europe, they will have to work hard in the future ! Nick Tronckoe. |
