Ghost Machinery is actually quite a young band. The band originated in Finland, which have been the thriving heart of metal these past years. Normally, Ghost Machinery was never supposed to exist. Ghost Machinery saw daylight because some metal artists couldn’t express their vast creativity in one single band. They joined forces and started to collect this new material under the name of Ghost Machinery. One of these band members is vocalist and incredibly virtuous guitarist Pete Ahonen, who had been taking care of the guitars in another band, called Burning Point. He had been writing much more material than his band could ever record. In addition, much of this stunning material didn’t quite fit into the band’s concept and main ideas. Fortunately, this material wasn’t let to go to waste. It found a home underneath the safe wings of Ghost Machinery, which is often described as a true neo-classical power metal sensation!

On their latest album, Out For Blood, the band has put most emphasis on fantastic choruses and mind-twisting riffs. All of these magical items are supported by the stunning voice of excellent metal vocalist Taage Laiho, who shares his powerful voice with us on Out For Blood. From the very beginning on, we are impressed by some explosive guitar work and blasting choruses, which make all songs truly unforgettable. Best song on the album, according to me, is "Lost In Time", which is a hymn-like masterpiece with amazingly harmonic keyboards and an unforgettable melody. The entire album is blessed with ear-shattering choruses, melodies and riffs which really drill their way into the listeners’ heads.

This is without exaggerating one of the best power metal albums of this year!
