Band : PM Today PM Today is a progressive post-hardcore band from Jacksonville (USA), that originally started as a cover band.
Their debut album “… And Then The Hurricane” was released in 2007. And PM Today continue to explore their potential with their sophomore effort, “In Medias Res” (a Latin expression that stands for “in the middle of affairs”).
The elaborated songs contain a lot of variation and are characterized by the enchanting vocals of singer Connor. Also attracting attention are the sensitive lyrics. References for the refreshing sound of PM Today can be found back in for instance Circa Survive, Dance Gavin Dance and The Butterfly Effect. “In Medias Res” contains 10 songs and has a playing time of 39 minutes.
Highlights of the album are the opening track “Thoughts In Transit”, “People Are Machines”, “Goodbye, Blue Monday”, “Don’t Exist” and “Composing A Commercial Product”. The coming months, PM Today play on a regular basis in the USA, but there are not yet any confirmed dates for Europe. 80/100 Erik. |
