What do you get when a record label doesn’t know witch album to release first? You get 2 for the price of one. The bands “Distaste” and “Bastard Peels” featured on this album both hail forth from Austria and are not know to the rest of the world. Something else they have in common and share is their combination of punk and grindcore.
So they putted rivalry aside and worked together for one promo album witch features both the bands. And although I really love this concept, there are some big details witch can’t stop bothering me. The album starts of powerful with the “Distaste” songs witch aren’t that bad (considering I’m more of a trash metal fan and this being punk/grindcore) and have a decent production level.
But when the “Bastard Peels” songs kick in, you’ll notice less musicianship and less production level. Considering they have more songs on the record than “Distaste”, this brings down the value. Even with the total of 16 songs on the record, this united front fails to deliver barely 33 minutes of metal mayhem. And will only appeal to hardcore grindcore fans. Great concept but poorly executed.

59/100
