Band : Wallace Vanborn This Gent three-piece engage in indie, stoner, rock n’ roll and loose lo-fi passages. They do show some hints of talent and rhythm during some of these bits, but they lack direction and they rarely flesh out any of their ideas. At best they sound like second rate Eagles Of Death Metal for a few moments or like Millionaire without the depth or sense of direction. At worst they sound flat and clueless. Somewhere below the surface I think that Free Blank Shots generate some interesting tones, but just not enough of them and no real blueprint to go by.Wallace Vanborn, has potential but this debut doesn't deliver it to its fullest. 65/100 Cosmicmasseur. |
