Anthrax. A band that doesn’t need an introduction, but for those heretics between us. Anthrax is an American metal band from New York City and was formed in 1981. The band was one of the most popular of the 1980s thrash metal scene. When thrash metal began to gain a major following in the mid-to-late 1980s, Anthrax were called one of the "big four" of thrash metal alongside Slayer, Megadeth and Metallica.
After years of tours and albums, the guys wanted to make a live DVD for fans to remember those beautiful live moments where crowd and band meet each other. This DVD covers their performance at the Hammersmith Odeon where they played the 16th of November in 1987. So there are a lot of oldies on this one like “Gung Ho”, “Metal Trashing Mad” and “NFL”.
For the old school soldiers this will be nostalgic and for the new generation is will be a lesson in history, either way you’ll love it. The feeling, the sound, the atmosphere of the 80’s caught on 1 DVD. Can this be a bad thing to buy?
