Three years after the release of Pursuit Until Capture, the Eindhoven rock&roll machine Peter Pan Speedrock is back with a brand new album called We Want Blood! The title of this new album says it all: they want blood! They want to go back to the days when rock&roll music sounded dangerous and they obviously managed to do so.
With Crank Up Everything, we already got a small preview of the new album as the band shot a video clip for this track and released it a few months ago. The first song also is the title track of the album and kicks off with some dirty rock&roll kicking you in the face with an intense rhythm and some great guitar riffs.
Another proof of the fact that most songs sound meaner, is that most songs are very short. Most songs aren’t any longer than 2 minutes. In the third one, Sofullashit, it’s again very clear that Peter Pan Speedrock doesn’t want to know about compromises. Just Another Day is the longest song on the album. It’s a bit more down-tempo than the other tracks and is a bit more melodic too. But don’t let it get to you, because after this song, Peter Pan Speedrock kicks some serious ass again.
We Want Blood! Has become a 13-track rock&roll train on which Peter Pan Speedrock plays louder, meaner, faster and dirtier than ever before. Every rock&roll fan can buy this album blindly … and then I only mean, the ‘real’ rock&roll fans.
