Years of abusing Mother Earth can’t go without a price. That price is called Debt Of Nature. With their crushing thrash, death metal they want to blow each and every human being off their socks.
Crush, Kill And Burn is their third album, second full length and their very first album released by a label, called Deity Down Records from The Netherlands. This is an underground label and the sound of Debt Of Nature perfectly fits this company.
If you listen to the band for the first time, you immediately think of Arch Enemy and actually, if you think this, you’re pretty close to the truth, as the band has a female growl vocalist. Next to that, they also have another vocalist. Both ‘voices’ perfectly blend in.
Don’t expect anything renewing, but tracks such as Masturbator Generator and Like Breeding Rats definitely are some great metal songs and they are very ‘moshable’. Insalata Tarantula starts less fast, a bit more down tempo, but fasten your seatbelt, because Debt Of Nature quickly accelerates again to higher levels. Eisenfresser on the other hand rather sounds like a black metal song: blasting drums and high guitar shredding. Even though, the song contains a splendid guitar riff which relates to death metal again.
As I’ve said already, don’t expect anything new from Debt Of Nature, but after having listened to their latest release, you’ll definitely fear the grass and the trees around you. Even nature can shred a guitar and blast some drums.
