An Italian metal band that uses Japanese calligraphies under a German record label, now that’s something you don’t see every day. The band who started its carrier in 2001 and already released some EP’s en demos have a new album where they try to mix modern extreme metal and hardcore elements and where they try to create atmospheres and a show to remember when on stage.
After doing the beginning struggle like everyone else, the band started to experiment with melodies and new solutions, without losing any effect of its brutal impact that they created with their sound.
The album itself is quite a surprise considering that is has been some time that the band released something. Groove is the keyword. The whole record has grove riffs but still hard as hell and has an inviting temptation to start headbanging or tapping your feet on the beat. The whole package sounds good. Everything works out except the drums. Where these sound a bit dull and could use a big dose of inspiration, the rest of the band keeps everything variated and interesting and keeps your attention. The success of this album is its choice of elements from various accessible genres making this very accessible. Welcome back guys, this album was definitely worth waiting for.
