In the beginning, there was only Heavy Metal! And out of that, Thornwill was born it s a Hungarian modern Heavy/Power Metal band with many different aspects including some progressive elements. . After struggling for some years to get around and looking for members, the year 2010 was their best year where they finally released their first album called Implosion.
The Hungarian media responded quite quickly, lot of positive feedback arrived, articles and reviews pointed out that Thornwill is capable of much more than the average band out there. The album can best be described as a combination of a melodic combination of Iron Maiden and Disturbed.
Modern, sometimes fast, always melodic. Most of the songs have emotional content, with very deep feelings behind it, but it lacks the strength of either of the band named above to really stand out of other small bands. There is one aspect that does put them in the spotlight. The album is free to download from the bands homepage, or it is available on many different community sites. It are 13 tracks so you can’t lose to check it out.
