Rex Carroll has bee around for quite some time already.  He started his career in the eighties in the Christian metal band White CrossThe Rex Carroll Band started out somewhere in 2004, and have been playing live shows since then.  This is their debut album. It’s not really a wonder that this album is rather bluesy then metal, since Rex  was profoundly influenced by the seventies rock scene, more in particular The Allman Brothers Band, ZZ Top, Stevie Ray Vaughn and others.

I can recommend this album to people who like to hear George Thorogood, Steve Miller, Stevie Ray Vaughn, but there’s more to it than those.  There are some more southern rock orientated songs as well.
After listening to this album I went searching for some more info, and was very astounded to find out that this band consists of only 3 members, cause this sure as hell cannot be heard in the music itself.

A good effort, which will be appreciated by those who tend more towards the bluesy stuff.
