Band: A Life Divided After releasing two demos (Virtualized in 2003 and Far in 2005), the six from Munich, Germany are now releasing their first full length album Passenger. If you are looking for a refreshing and never-heard-before-sound, A Life Divided’s firstborn might not be exactly what you are looking for. However, if you enjoy listening to extremely well produced songs, you probably will like what you are hearing when spinning Passenger. If you listen closely, you might discover the vague smell of old Linkin Park or a touch of Depeche Mode (although you have to visualize the ‘light’-version of both of these references). The whole record is a well orchestrated entity, dripping with professionalism. Take "Forever", for example, there’s no denying that this is well-thought song. Multiple layers of keyboards woven through the vocal lines and guitars give the song a certain blaze that enforces the underlying emotions of the lyrics. Overall, this is a more than enjoyable debut!
