It seems highly unlikely thatif you’re a hard rock/ AOR fan that you haven’t got a CD or LP of Bon Jovi  in your collection, but if that’s the case then you should buy this greatest hits CD. 

Bon Jovi has been around since the eighties, and have produced countless hits – in the past that is, cause their latest issues were not of the same high level as their older work. Whereas Slippery When Wet was chock full of potential hits, that still stand like a house and do not sound outdated, the same cannot be said of their more recent work. Besides spanning their career from the beginning, a few new tracks were added, like "What Do You Got?" or "No Apologies".  "What Do You Got ?" is not a very god track, compared to the old material Bon Jovi wrote.  "No Apologies" is better, but still not good enough.

To sum it up : if you know someone who likes Bon Jovi, but owns no CD of them, this might be a good present for under the Christmas tree.
