Band: Gloryful Gloryful are a very young (formed in 2010) German duo, consisting of two experienced Metal-musicians, Shredmaster JB (g, b) and Johnny La Bomba (v, g). The band debuts with the mini-album Sedna’s Revenge, which has duration of only fifteen minutes (three tracks). The material got recorded at the German Metal For Metal Studio, and the whole was mixed and mastered in Romania by Alexandru-Marian Seidiu (Hell’s Mixtables).
This is the kind of Heavy Metal many can appreciate: pulsating, rhythmic, pounding, flashy and with a massive energetic drive. It comes with the traditional ingredients: fiery solos, double bass lines, hammering drum patterns, Heavy Metal shrieks and harmonious chants, and an atmosphere that brings back the eighties… And it floats over the no-man’s-land between Traditional and Speed Metal as well.
Think: Judas Priest, Dream Evil, Exciter, Iron Maiden, Armour, Manowar, Anvil or WASP; even Rainbow and Dio might have been of influence??? A full length to follow soon??? 77/100 Ivan Tibos. |
