If you’re into keyboards then this album is a definite must-buy.  Whereas mostly the guitar work is predominant in metal, on this album it’s the keyboards that steal the show.

Of course the guitars aren’t forgotten either, they also play a major role, but you could say that guitar solo’s are mixed with keyboard solo’s.Mistheria is actually an Italian guy, called Giuseppe Lampieri, and this is his second album after his debut album in 2004.  On this album he got the aid of a score of well known artists, like Rob Rock, John West, John Macaluso, and the list goes on.  He also teaches keyboard, piano and key tar at a music school in Rome – Italy. Musically I’d call it progressive (power) metal.  I’m sure fans of Yngwie Malmsteen won’t be disappointed when listening to this album, cause it combines classical influences with heavy metal. At 13 songs you sure get worth for you money.  An album I strongly recommend.

If only for the great keyboard work, but also with 5 different vocalists, each with their own unique voice and style, you could expect that there would be little or no cohesion in this album, but this is far from the truth.
