The Safemode adventure started somewhere in the spring of 2007 in Sweden.  Starting out as a melodic rock band, their style became more and more aggressive, ending as a hardcore band, or  a very close resemblance to a hardcore band.  Some people would call this screamo. In 2008 they recorded an EP.  Following that they won a big band called Rockkarusllen in Sweden in 2009.  600 bands were participating in the event, but Safemode reached first place.

In 2010 they started writing songs for this album, and recorded it towards the end of the year. Now as most of you might already know from reading my reviews, I’m more a metal, hard rock and AOR fan, and hardcore or its likes and descendants are not really my cup of tea.  I have too admire these guys, cause they seem to have done a fine job, but I’m just not that into all that screaming if it’s not necessary. 

Musically it all fits snugly though.
