Band: Stahlmann Stahlmann is an “Neue Deutsche Härte” ('new German hardness', but what they mean with it nobody knows) band from Germany and saw first light in 2008. Anyway, the band brings forth a Gothic Metal Industrial sound that is similar (no actually the same) as Germany’s most know band Rammstein. And when I mean the same, I really mean the same as only die hard fans will notice that its not Till Lindmann. With this record they bring lyrics that are dark and haunting, engrossing guitars and electronics, and atmospheric vocals. And they do it very well, nothing bad to find on this record with the exception of it being maybe a bit short. However they really really REALLY sound the same as Rammstein. This could either be a good thing or a bad thing, this is something you have to see for yourself if you like it or not. What also could be a downer is that like Rammstein (warned you) they sing in German. And not everyone understands that making it a bit “anti-accessible”. 76/100 Jeroen. |
