System Divide is really a mix of band members from all kinds of different bands and genres.

This makes it extremely hard to categorize them in a certain genre or in a specific country. The music they bring on their latest album entitled The Conscious Sedation however can be described as female-fronted death metal with a heavy twist. Who can we actually meet in System Divide? Sven from Aborted, Miri (who is also Sven’s wife) from Distorted and some Americans from highly ranked metal bands. It might have seemed a big step for Sven to begin a new band that is quite softer than his previous band, but it seems to work incredibly well. The Conscious Sedation is extremely heavy and hard to digest at first. However, after some turns, this album seems to be very well mastered. Songs as "Vagaries of Perception", "Echoes" and the latest single "The Apex Doctrine" are catchy as hell and they will definitely be tasted by an open-minded audience.

The Conscious Sedation is not very innovative, but System Divide have certainly made an excellent start. Now, what else would you expect from such experienced musicians?
