Triggerfinger, an award winning 3-headed rock band from Antwerp, Belgium once again hits the music scene with an album that rocks hard. Front man Ruben Block, drummer Mario Goossens and bassist Monsieur Paul went to Los Angeles to record this album in the legendary Sound City Studios. And with their new album the re-establish their award winning status and won already a couple of MIA’s (Belgium music awards) for best Band, best artist…

The album can be compared to previous work with the exception that it’s slightly less hard. It feels that its been made softer and more melodic to make it more commercial. Don’t get me wrong there are still those southern country blues riffs to be found on the record, but this time they are accompanied with more commercial elements. Good or Bad? That’s for you to find out. Some love this album and others (like me) liked their older work more, but this definitely is a nice album. Fun to listen to, active or passive, its fun to put in your stereo.

87/100
