Jackass is an American stunt and prank show, originally shown on the well known music channel MTV. It features people performing various dangerous, crude, ridiculous pranks, jokes and other self-injuring stunts. The show served as a launch pad for the television and acting careers of Johnny Knoxville, Steve O, Wee-man and Bam Margera.

After various seasons on MTV, the whole crew made a movie. Due its success, there was more than one movie and now we have the honor of seeing all these dumbasses with their stupidity getting hurt. Always lots of fun and laughs when people are being idiots for some money. For their latest movie (in 3D) the band gathered some songs that fitted best with their stunts and collected them on 1 disc. So it’s a bit hard to be objective about it when there are 13 songs with all different artists. Same goes genre wise as one moment you have old rock like Twisted Sister and the other moment country music by Karen O.

It's fun when you’re a fan of Jackass, but I really doubt that someone would buy this record without seeing the movie or liking a few of the artists on it. It is varieties with artists like Weezer, Roger Miller, CKY,….. But that is its only strongest point. I’m giving this a fairly good score, but only for the artists on it, not the concept.

92/100
