The American band Dekapitator is not a very new band, far from that. It's a band from the nineties! Well, the late nineties just to give them some credit. We Will Destroy... You will Obey!!! is actually a re-release of the very first album of Dekapitator, released in 1999 (late nineties, told you so). Since the band is still very proud of their first achieved work, they decided to have their debut record completely repackaged, remastered and even reissued with four additional bonus tracks.

We will Destroy... You will Obey!!! is described as being nothing less than total slaughter. In this case, they might be right. With this album, Dekapitator really blasts you to the ground. In the beginning, the violent mix of thrash and death sounds a bit messy. However, the comfortable dose of aggression makes up for this in a wonderful metal way.

It's rather difficult to write a completely new review on something that has already been released and widely reviewed, so all I can say next to what has already been said, is that the re-mastering proves to have been a great success and this clever move might bring Dekapitator back to higher levels!
