I had a bit of difficulties to file this CD under a music style.  It’s hard rock all right, but what kind? The info that was joined said it was for fans of Led Zeppelin, Free and Van Halen. I don’t think that’s the case, or not totally at least. I also hear some Pearl Jam, not in the music, but the vocals sound quite a bit like Eddie Vedder’s vocals. The sound may be mostly embedded in the seventies, but, one way or another, they also remind me of a UK band from the early nineties : Skin.

As a matter of fact, after a few spins I grew into this album. At first it might have sounded a bit odd, especially the combination of Pearl Jam-like vocals, with old style hard rock music, interwoven with some bluesy accents, but hey, it works just fine. Once you get accustomed to the vocals, you discover some fine music, with good guitar, and decent songs. This is by no means a groundbreaking album, but it’s stuff like this that makes the foundations for a genre. They will not rise to stardom, but they’ll have had their fun while playing, and having entertained the masses.

Go out, and discover this band.
