It was bound to happen. After the monster success of the ‘Black Ice’ album en the massive world tour that followed a live capitation would be the logical next step. In December of 2009 the AC/Dc armada landed in Buenos Aires the lovely capitol of Argentina and filled the impressive River Plate football stadium for 3 nights. Just ask any band that’s ever played South America and they will all tell you the same stories: the fans out there are out of this world. They lose their minds and give themselves 250%. This little disc shows how AC/DC, despite their climbing age, still do the trick and entertain 66.000 crazy rock N roll fans for over 2 hours and take them on a trip down memory lane. Apart from AC/DC classics such as ‘Hell Ain’t A Bad Place To Be’, ‘Hells Bells’, ‘Thunderstruck’ en ‘Highway To Hell’ the Ausie rockers also make place for songs of their latest record with ‘Rock N Roll Train’, ‘Big Jack’ and the title track. When you’re watching this all it’s like your in the stadium yourself because they managed to film everything with 32 HD-camera’s. By the time you’ll get to “For Those About To Rock (We Salute You)” it’s like the canons are beside you in the living room. On this dvd there’s not that much space left for extra’s. Just a modest docu about the stay in Argentina and the animation that runs as an intro to every show the band plays. But he, who needs more. It’s the music that does the talking and in this case it’s more than alright.
