Don’t let you get misguided by this band’s name, cause their music is miles away from hardcore.  Instead it’s rather superb hard rock music, with a very slight penchant towards metal.

What started out as a project back in 2009 between Joakim Bloohm (Randy Piper’s Animal) &  Jorgen Bolmstad (Surround).  The binding factor was that they both liked Mötley Crüe, and wanted to start a band that sounded like them.  So they started writing songs and made a 16 track demo.  All songs on this album came from that demo.
So are they sounding like Môtley Crüe ?  Yes, but with better vocals.  I mean, Vince Neil  does a fine job, but Jorgen Bolmstad has a more powerful voice, grittier than Vince’s, and this gives the songs another edge.  Also Hardcore Circus sound is less glam orientated.
The other musicians on this abum might be less known than Joakim and Jorgen, but they’ve also been in the music business for quite some time playing either in bands, or taking part into some projects.

A very nice album it has become, although no song will become an all time classic.

85/100
