King James.  A band formed out of the ashes of different bands so to speak.  Indeed , cause it incorporated Rex Carroll, formerly member of  Whitecross, as well as Michel Sweet  and Tim Gaines (both formerly Stryper band members) and last, but not least, Jimi Bennet (ex Sacred Fire, Viktor) on vocals.

‘The Fall” was the second release by King James, and was originally released in 1997, four years after their debut release ‘Vision’.  This album, originally released in Europe, and twice released in the USA, has been very hard to find, since out of print for almost ten years.  As a matter of fact I have to say that on ‘The Fall’, the two ex-Stryper members no longer were in the band. Musically, they remind me a bit of Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, even some Black Sabbath.  So yes, at times it sounds a bit grungier than I might like, but luckily they managed to maintain enough metal elements in their music.

Even with the grunge elements in it, still a nice enough album.
