How time flies by. House Of Lords released its debut album in 1989.  This album ‘Big Money’ is their eight studio album.  Yet from the original line-up only vocalist James Christian remained.   But I liked the band in the eighties, and I still like them now.

Trademark of the band are the vocals by James Christian.  That, and the ability for the band to write some good songs, despite what line-up they’re in.  Not all songs are real crackers of course, but they manage to include on each and every album a few songs that would have raised entire stadiums rise up were we still in the eighties.
They might never gain back the huge fan mass they had in the eighties, but these guys can still stand their ground.  Best tracks on this album are the title song ‘Big Money’, ’One Man Down’, ‘First To Cry’, but my personal favorite is ‘Living I A Dream World’.

House Of Lords have definitely returned to the scenes with this album, let’s hope they also pick the success back up.

90/100
