When I heard the first notes of this CD, and more especially the vocals I said to myself: this is a voice I’ve heard before.  And right I was.  Vocalist on this disc is Mr. Tony Mills from TNT.  And while I can’t decide whether I like his voice or hate it, the balance slopes more toward liking it than hating it. The reason why I’m having some troubles with it, is that he has a rather high pitched voice.

But the music in this case does the talking.  Although the keyboards are a vital element in this band, they’ve not forgotten the guitars either.  Yes it might sound very commercial, but I like it.  As you might expect there are a few ballads on the album, and these songs are the weakest on the album if you ask me.
If you’re into catchy, melodic rock, this is just the album you’re looking for I think.  All ten songs sound good, and this is quite a performance, since their previous album was only released some eighteen months ago.  The only minor point I could find was that it’s very hard to find the bass guitar in  this keyboard/guitar dominated album.

85/100
