Seven is a band coming form the Czch Republic, and this is their sixth album it seems.  All previous albums were self released, but now they’ve been contracted by Nuclear Blast, so their music will get released outside their country as well.

I must say that I like their music.  Upon hearing their album for the first time it reminded me of Rage, but also of POD.  They sound like a mix of traditional metal, with some prog influences, and also a tiny bit of grunge.  But whereas I don’t like grunge; except for a few select songs, this album over all sounds quite good.
And with Lukas Pisarik they’ve got a really talented vocalist with a mighty powerfull voice, and to top it of he sings without any noticeable accent.  Guitars are handled by Honza Kirk Behunek who also does an admirable job.

Let’s hope that the talents of these guys are noticed, so that they can broaden their fan base beyond the boundaries of their country.

85/100
