Artillery is a Danish technical Trash metal band that formed in 1982 in Taastrup, a suburb to Copenhagen. And after 9 years since their last cd B.A.C.K. and luckily the band released “when death comes” in 2009 so we didn’t had to wait that long again to hear something from them.

The album is called “My Blood” and picks up just where the previous stopped. So in a way you can compare it like “Reign in Blood” and “South Of Heaven” by Slayer. 2 albums that sound similar have lots of differences but belong together. So in many ways you can expect the same old good trash metal from before, but this time the band has incorporated more melodic elements to keep up with modern trash bands.
Either you love it or you hate it, but keep in mind that its not overwhelming and that it’s still 90% of angry trash metal. But I really love opening track “Mi Sangre” witch has a cool Arabic vibe going on due to those newly added melodies

If you haven’t heard from these guys, you can best describe it as, early Megadeth songs. This record once again confirms their status as trash hero’s that can compete with everyone
