I think the first time I ever heard this band was on one of the fabulous US Metal compilation albums that were released by Shrapnel Records.  In those days I only had a limited budget – sadly enough – so even if I had wanted to I could never have afforded buying all the albums I wanted. I didn’t even know these guys still existed, and, not having followed their career, didn’t quite know what to expect from this album.
From the first song  on I was blown out of my socks.  For a band that’s been around for some thirty years or so, with lots of line-up changes, this is an album that oozes out energy.  This is some very good US Metal.  Brian Allen, who replaced James River (Helstar) performs very well, and the guitar duels between Geoff Thorpe and Kiyoshi Morgan are real killers.

A very strong album, highly recommended if you like old school heavy metal.
