Full Force is a power metal band from Sweden that formed in late 2008. The band was formed by ex-Hammerfall members Magnus Rosen (who already left the band), Anders Johansson and Stefan Elmgren. Later on Mike Andersson (Silent Memorial, Cloudscape) joined as the new singer for this project. The last member to join would be Carl Johan Grimmark.
So a fairly new band that has it’s album out for over a month now. The album is what the band promises, a power metal album, but with here and there some added melodic elements. In the end it’s nothing ground breaking, but in some ways it does sound a bit original (maybe the middle eastern scales and samples that get thrown at you).
The album starts powerful with opening track “Mythomaniac”, and the next few songs have a similar effect/vibe. But later on the album slows a bit down and stays at that tempo. Its like they couldn’t place the songs in a better way on their record, now its like they putted their best songs up front and after that it’s only downwards.
However, the overall feeling of the album feels like they have putted a lot of work and time in it and during that process had nothing but fun (witch you can hear). Certainly not a bad debut album, even if it’s another all star band/album.

83/100
