It’s taken almost twenty years for this album to be released, but finally is has seen the light of day.

Originally recorded between June and October of 1989 in Venice – Italy, the album was on the verge of being released.  But endless negotiations with an American label meant the funds were dwindling.
Despite all this, since they had had some success in the States, these Italians just managed to find enough funds to cross the ocean, and were creating quite a reputation in the South-Californian club circuit.  But at that time the grunge virus struck and blew away their dreams, and with an empty purse they returned home.

Now, almost 18 years later, the original yet remastered recordings are released.  And to be sincere, I think they have stood the test of time very well.  Had this been released in the heydays of hard rock, before grunge became the trend, these guys might have been successful.

There are times when Giacomo Gigantelli’s voice reminds me a bit of Udo Dirkschneider or Biff Byford.  Next to that Stefano Gregori also performs very well on guitars.

So a pleasant surprise to see this album released.  And it seems the band is back together again, and working on new material!.

90/100
