Band: Nekrofilth Nekrofilth are a pretty young project, hailing from Cleveland, Ohio (USA). Nekrofilth are the brainchild of Zack Rose, who’s involved as well with Crucified Mortals (they released a more-than-acceptable self-called album four weeks ago, also through Hells Headbangers Records – check out the recently-posted review), and who’s member of top-act Nunslaughter (they too will release a (new?) album very soon on Hells Headbangers, and both Nekrofilth and Nunslaughter will release a split (EP) as well through the very same label – pretty soon, if I’m right). With the assistance of two other musicians (Timmy on bass and Ryan on drums), Zack Rose (g, v) recorded a self-called demo in 2008, which will now be released on vinyl, entitled Worship Destruction. Same songs, just made available for vinylovers. Worship Destruction opens with Give Up On Life, which brings the pounding rhythm and riffs of Hellhammer with punky and sore yelling. It sets the tone for a cool Old Old Old School-crossover on filthy Pre-Death Metal with a doomy atmosphere and grinding Punk / Hardcore-brutality. 82/100 Ivan Tibos. |
