After one album Handgrenade Blues(2009) Danish based party rock’n’ roll outfit Supercharger are finally back, this time with their second full length titled That’s How We Roll

I guess they’re into the glam and classic rock sounds in fairly equal doses, and this cd lives up to each. All the trademarks are here. Ringing harmonies, hook-heavy riffs and driving rhythms. The boogie riffs are still there, and so is the Hellacopters/Backyard Babies/Gluecifer sleaziness, wrapped in a solid production. The second release starts out promising enough, with the punchy track entitled “Heart on overdrive”. It's all-loud, overdriving guitars and pounding drums that definitely gets its hooks into you. Unfortunately, That’s How We Roll never gets better than the first track, although the tracks “Rulers of the day” and “Aim high” come close.

70/100
