Three Seasons is a band that has been built around ex-Siena Root vocalist/guitarist Sartez (the Far From the Sun album). alongside Olle Risberg on bass and Christian Eriksson on drums,  Life’s Road is a journey in heavy 70’s hardrock and it seems like Sartez gathered inspiration from a lot of places. You can tell that the members are all experienced musicians and the incorporation of Hammond organ makes the music sound even better. So, how good is Three Seasons actually? Well, it´s all-round good and entertaining stuff if you happen to like 70s retro rock, spiced up with some jazz, and even think a fair dose of soul/funk doesn´t harm your ear channels either at all. Songs like "Too many choices” , “Cold to the bone” and “Feel alive” are all more of a straight-forward, somewhat raw yet groove type of 70s rock - while at the same time such tracks as “Each to their own”, “An endless delusion” and “Since our first day” bring out this more jamming side of Three Seasons on Life’s Road, giving more variation and depth for their songs. It seems that songs such as “Too many choices”, “Down to the bottom” and “Life’s road” have been taken from Siena Root’s unreleased demotapes, it has this certain, familiar feel to it. The addictive groove and the vocals are those two most distinctive elements that automatically lead a listener to Siena Root’s direction. But all in all, very cool songs.

Even if the album is quite long with its 60 minutes, it doesn’t feel like it because there’s so much activity in the music all the time.

90/100
