Seasons After is an American alternative metal band from Kansas that was formed in 2006. With Through Tomorrow, they have come to the release of their debut album. So far, the band has been compared to bands such as Killswitch Engage and Bullet For My Valentine. This all sounds really promising and beyond all expectations, it really is.
From Some Things Burn to Gettin’ Even we are treated with some of the finest new metal I’ve heard in a while. Though the band has lived through some line-up changes, the songs on Through Tomorrow are incredibly convincing and no real rip-off of the previously mentioned bands.
Through Tomorrow is a stunning first album of Seasons After that actually even gets better after repeated listening turns. It’s all really catchy, which makes it even more enjoyable to listen to. It’s not like Seasons After are creating something completely refreshing nor creative with their first album, but everything they do seems like a harmonious introduction to what is yet to come. Are you quite fond of a combination of melodic, fist-pumping choruses and sharp riffs? Than Through Tomorrow is the album you need to discover the ultimate power of Seasons After.
