"The Action Five is a five piece underground rock band from Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. According the band and their quickly made Myspace, they claim to be a ‘Rock/Powerpop/Rock’. Unfortunately, there is very little or even nothing to find about them from this page or the ‘net’ in general.
The band released a single containing 3 tracks witch is very little, but each of the songs is a masterpiece of its own, unique and very different from each other. Happy, poppy and a beat that keeps your foot tapping to the irresistible rhythm.
To compare this band I would say they sound like band like “The Datsuns” but of course with a more touch of their own (being a mouth harmonica on one of the tracks for example). Good honest rock and easy to listen to so that anyone can enjoy this kind of music and this album.
