CD REVIEW Part Time Killer

Band: Part Time Killer
Album title: People, Religion, Death
Label: Pee Records
Distributor: Pee Records
Release date: Out Now
Release: CD

Part Time Killer was formed in 2008 in Lahti Finland after their previous band “Flippin' Beans” called it a day. But wherever a door closes, a window opens and the band knew that it was just the beginning of an energetic new band. Part Time Killer was formed and used rock, 90´s melodic skate punk rock combined with 80's hardcore.
At that point the band recorded 2 songs for their simple Myspace. But those 2 songs actually got them noticed and got them singed to Pee Records to record a full album not long after that.
Their latest release called “People, Religion, Death” and delivers what the band promises. Good all round melodic skate punk/rock that anyone could listen to. You could best describe it as a better and less commercial version of Green Day. Only thing that bothers me about this genre is that there isn’t 1 song that lasts even 3 minutes and the record is fairly fast finished.
