Set Your Goals from the Bay Area is a pop punk band who always kept true to their roots and never had the intention to sell out, the proof of this can already be found in the first track on the brand new album, Burning At Both Ends, called Cure For Apathy. The chorus is very catchy and the harmony between both singers sounds perfect once again. This actually goes on on the entire album.
One of the songs is called Happy New Year and in this song, Set Your Goals is a bit sarcastic as they denounce every positive aspect of celebrating New Year.
Trenches and Exit Summer are two of the most up-tempo songs on the new album and you can clearly hear that the vocal parts of both singers are like coffee and sugar: they blend together perfectly. The latter song also proves that the vocal capacity of both Jordan and Matt has definitely increased.
The second song, Start The Reactor, actually summarizes what the band is about on their latest album: they don't do it to be cool, but just because it is what they love to do and it's their way to keep eternal youth alive.

90/100
