The successes of this band and its pretty big importance in the beginning of the 21st century in all honors, I never really liked The Strokes too much and therefore think that I might be the exactly wrong one to review the new album. In fact, considering that I'm not a fan, I have no excitement, nor expectation. Getting my prejudices out of the way here at the beginning Angles is certainly not that offensive on the ears.

The title track “Machu Picchu”, “Under cover of darkness” and “Taken for a fool” pack quite a pound and also appeal to a open minded soul like me. On the other side such wave shitty  tracks as “Games” and “You’re so right” really are annoying. Fans may like this (though even at that I hardly think it'll rock anyone’s world) but I don't.
