Adept is a band that counts 5 heads and hails forth from Trosa, Sweden. The music they create can best be described as melodic/ punk/ metalcore. However I never heard from these guys before, but they actually already exists for about 7 years and just released their fifth album.

This five-piece is perfectly competent and every member knows how to handle his instrument (what is no surprise after so many years). Although it looks like good and fun music that everybody can and will enjoy, they have a problem.

 Unfortunately the guys represent a genre on a very saturated market. Although every song does sound fun, decent, good and made very well, it really is nothing new, its just another Killswitch Engage or Bring Me The Horizon. Don’t get me wrong, I mean that as a compliment and fans of that genre will totally dig this, but with all the latest releases or the new stuff coming out, this is a genre that is well represented. Unfortunately, because this is a good album.
