San Jose, California. That's where the story of punk/hardcore band Executioner begins. Executioner recently released their new 7" vinyl, called Hellbound.
The four-track album kicks off with "Fix Me/Hellbound". The song immediately refers to New York hardcore, such as Cro-Mags are still playing it. Catchy guitar tunes, fast drumming, ...

The second and last song, "Flatlands" and "Marked To Die", make me think of Supertouch. Down-tempo hardcore with controversial lyrics and a catchy melody.
Fans of Cro-Mags, Dead Kennedys and Black Flag will definitely know to appreciate this album. Up the punx !
