I’d never before heard of the man, and – to be honest – I hope I’ll never be hearing of him again.  It seems he has earned international fame, has even won 3 Grammy awards and is deemed to be an architect of American soul music. 

When I started playing this CD, I got the impression I was listening to a third grade wedding band, or one of those bands you used to have 40 years ago trying to cheer up the people in the evening in their hotel in Spain, playing bad covers from the all time favourite songs.
As a matter of fact, this album does not deserve a review on Concrete Web. It’s nowhere near to rock music.  This is music for septuagenarians.
After five songs I could have strangled the keyboardist.  He’s always producing the same, boring sounds.
