It took four years, but finally we can enjoy Grabak’s fifth studio recording, simply called Sin. The quartet did create a concept about sins, cardinal sins, seen from a correct point of view, with the knowledge that sinning might be fun…
No originality AT ALL. Performance quality instead.
Rhythmic, aggressive, melodic, old schooled, blaspheme, decadent, pounding, oppressive, obscure and sinful are the keywords; Endstille, Enthroned, Mor Dagor, Necrophobic, Dark Funeral, Setherial and Belphegor might be sound-alikes.
Nothing more to add, except mentioning the quality of both song writing and recording: above expectations, more than acceptable, yet less convincing than ever before, unfortunately. Sad…
