Peter Tägtgren is quite gradually becoming an icon in metal, not only in his home country Sweden, but most certainly in the rest of the world as well. This two-faced man is feeding us with his musical gift in treating us to a great variety of music of the metal kind. One year, he's working on a new Pain album, the other year, after a successful tour as promotion to that album, he's already finishing off his newest Hypocrisy album and now again, he makes name by releasing a new Pain masterpiece, entitled You Only Live Twice. Indeed, while other musicians would need two or more lives to complete this amount of excellent and legendary albums, Tägtgren only needs a couple of years. When he says that music is his greatest fortune, but also his biggest downfall (leading him towards two divorces), you immediately know that you're dealing with a super talented and driven musician. With his brand new album, You Only Live Twice, he only proves himself to be absolutely right in continuing to pave the musical path of industrial metal.
Now, what can you expect of You Only Live Twice? You're used to the previous Pain material? Well, expect the same, but even heavier, darker and more aggressive. From the very first notes of Let Me Out till the ending lines of Season Of The Reaper, you are treated to some catchy Pain melodies.
With You Only Live Twice, Pain deliver only nine songs, but what kind of songs! Be surprised and get this album as soon as possible!
