Only one year and a half after their latest release, White Wizzard is back to convince the metal masses of their talent. One thing that's immediately crystal clear after one single listening turn: these fellows from L.A. have really outdone themselves. With the opening track Fight to the Death, White Wizzard prove to be is wonderfully strong and convincing when it comes to song writing. It really makes you want to hear more. Fortunately enough, there are eleven more fantastic songs waiting for you to be heard. There are two excellent heavy metal elements that truly get to you: the striving/shattering guitar sound and the bone hard riffs. This makes it all sound much more mature than on the previous record, which makes White Wizzard really stand out compared to metal bands of the same genre. Every single song on Flying Tigers can be described as a true metal party. A blast from the past at its best!
