I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Boston is the Mecca for metal fans and metal bands. That is what Led To The Grave proves once more with their new five-track record, Sent To Burn. It is a true DIY thrash metal masterpiece.
The first four tracks on Sent To Burn are pure thrash metal tracks including the three basic elements of thrash: speed, riffs and screams ! The first band Led To The Grave makes me think of is, without any doubt, the almighty Exodus. Except for the vocals, they are a bit higher on this record.
The last song really stands on its own and it is quite remarkable. It proves that Led To The Grave isn’t afraid to experiment with thrash music. Bloodrott rather sounds like a heavy metal or power metal song than a thrash metal song.
All these aspects create a very good upcoming band which leads it listeners to the grave, I’m talking about Led To The Grave.
