All Time Low is an American pop punk band from Baltimore, Maryland that was formed in 2003. The band consists of lead vocalist/guitarist Alex Gaskarth, guitarist Jack Barakat, bassist Zack Merrick, and drummer Rian Dawson. The name All Time Low is taken from lyrics in the song “Head on Collision” by New Found Glory. Forming whilst still in high school, the band started out covering pop punk bands such as Green Day and Blink-182.
The band already has 3 previous albums released (Dirty Works being their forth), has eight singles out, 1 live album/DVD and 2 EP’s. So yeah, in the time they have been around they definitely knew some sort of success, otherwise this fourth album wouldn’t be out. But from covering punk in 2003, they went to lame pop rock in 2011.
Commercialized music that could easily blend in between music acts like “The Jonas Brothers” or “Tokyo Hotel”. And no, I don’t mean that as a compliment. This is just music made to impress little schoolgirls and to make them poor buy selling them crappy music and band merchandise. Just a couple boys acting 50% tough and 50 % emo. Maybe good music if you are 12 years old, otherwise get rid of it as soon as possible.
