Crane is a German melodic rock band that consists of  Armin Schueler, Markus Escher, Christian Klaus and Javier F. Luegendo-Lopez Fernandez. Although they are German, they sing in English. But it ends there, their website, the record label they are under,… are unfortunately for the rest of the world in German. So unless you know the language or want to learn it, you won’t find a lot of info about this band.
Their latest release is called “Refuge” and is a combination of melodic rock, a bit of hard rock and here and there a bit of country music. At certain points it even sounds like 80’s rock. Certainly not a bad combination, it definitely works.
The downside of this album lays in the fact that it’s very linear. Most of the songs are played in the same tempo (being a bit on the ballad/slower side) so most people probably will get bored after 3 to 4 songs. It’s not a bad album, but you have to open yourself up for it, and yes that’s harder than it seems. And again, it is a pity there is no info about these guys in English.
