Now you can hardly call this musician a hard rock musician, let alone a metal musician.  No it’s more blues rock that’s on the order of the day here.  Now besides a few acts like Stevie Ray Vaughan or Jeff Healey this is not immediately the kind of music I’s play regularly, I was greatly surprised when listening to this album.
On some of these tracks I was reminisced of vintage ZZ-Top material (think their first 5 or six albums).  But I also got hints of Lenny Kravitz, while of course Stevie Ray Vaughan also never really gets out of the picture.

And the reason why I also mentioned Jeff Healey before is mainly because in the guitar department it sounds really a lot like the late Mr. Healey  himself. You also get hints of Steve Miller.
The material on this album varies from blues, to almost hard rock (but just not quite), and also some Southern rock.  The vocals by Noah Hunt are sublime, it doesn’t matter what style prevails, he manages to make each song sound good.

While not being a pure rock album, this Cd is a welcome addition to my collection.
